Thomas Lyte are humbled to be the Designers and Makers of the Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Tournament trophy.
On a glorious autumn afternoon Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club (“Metropolitan Polo Club”) once again showcased the superb skills of budding polo players from a bevy of international youth teams.
First lifted in 2011 at the nation’s largest polo facility, the tournament featured junior players – all under the age of 18 years – hailing from the great polo playing nations of Argentina, USA, England and South Africa. All games were played as 4-chukka matches under Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) rules.
Thomas Lyte was asked to create a one-off silver 14” bevelled edge dish with scrolled feet, which was presented to the winning USA team members, who took great joy in lifting the trophy dish and showering each other with champagne to celebrate their win.
We have selected a number of case studies that demonstrate the broad range of our capabilities designing and making in precious metals.
