The Queen’s Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, Thomas Lyte, were announced, in May 2021, as the official trophy and silverware supplier of both The FA and Emirates FA Cup after signing an exclusive five-year partnership agreement. During more than 20 years of association, we have collaborated on several commissions that include the designing and crafting of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, The FA Community Shield and the new Emirates FA Cup in 2014 that is the third version of the iconic trophy since 1911 and considered a masterpiece of British silversmithing.
Royal Warrant holders, Thomas Lyte, have entered into an exclusive five-year partnership with the ATP, global governing body of men’s professional tennis. As Official Trophy and Silverware Supplier to the Nitto ATP Finals, the world-renowned sporting trophy maker will design, create, restore and maintain trophies and silverware for the ATP, including crafting new replicas and awards for players. The partnership cements and extends Thomas Lyte’s affiliation with the ATP, which began in 2009 when the company was commissioned to produce a series of sterling silver trophies for the Nitto ATP Finals and ATP Year-End World Number One.
Thomas Lyte is the official supplier of the International League T20, and the master gold and silversmiths designed and made the ILT20 Trophy. A landmark trophy for a new competition, taking place for the first time in early 2023. Since the arrival of twenty20 cricket, the cricket world has been turned on it’s head. These fast paced competitions have appeared globally, and like the International League T20, they require a crowning glory. Thomas Lyte are the world leading trophy manufacturers, and are therefore the solution to design and make the competition’s custom trophies. Thomas Lyte have partnered with the ILT20 as official suppliers, and as such have designed and made a landmark new ILT20 trophy.
World renowned master goldsmith’s and silversmith’s Thomas Lyte have partnered with SA20 as official trophy supplier. The stunning new trophy, designed and made by Thomas Lyte in their London fine silver workshop, has been coined the ‘most coveted prize in South African sport’. The Betway SA20 brings together six new franchises with a key vision to grow South African cricket, produce more players for the National team and to give as many players as possible to compete on the global stage.
Announced in May 2021, the world’s greatest trophy manufacturers Thomas Lyte are the Official Silverware Supplier to The British and Irish Lions and the designers and makers of the first perpetual trophy in the history of the British and Irish Lions Tour. Thomas Lyte were commissioned by the Lions to handcraft the custom trophy in time for their 2021 visit to South Africa, as well as the Lions 1888 Cup. One of the most anticipated events in the international sporting calendar, we are delighted to show our creativity and craftsmanship to a global audience at the climax of one of rugby’s greatest competitions.
Thomas Lyte are delighted to be an official licensee of luxury gifts for The British Olympic Association (BOA). In 2012, the new partnership was launched with the first exclusive range of such products produced for Team GB. Proceeds from the sales went towards supporting Team GB athletes on the road to Sochi and Rio. Following the initiative, Team GB have continued to utilise Thomas Lyte’s gifting services to recognise achievements made by those associated with British sport. The partnership is a magnificent example of Thomas Lyte’s commitment to supporting and celebrating the very fabric of sport in the UK and beyond.
As a world-renowned luxury silversmith, we at Thomas Lyte are proud to be the official silverware suppliers to the Sport Industry Group. Over the course of a partnership spanning nearly two decades our silver workshops handcraft trophies annually for the Sport Industry Awards. Designed and made in London, the custom awards are presented to the winners at a glittering ceremony attended by over 1,500 high profile guests. Throughout the year Thomas Lyte and Sport Industry Group also collaborate on various projects to promote British craftsmanship and the value that it brings to world of elite sports.
