Religious and Ecclesiastical Silverware

Trusted goldsmiths and silversmiths to Her Majesty the Queen

Thomas Lyte holds a Royal Warrant as Goldsmith and Silversmith to Her Majesty the Queen. We are also proud to be ecclesiastical silversmiths and goldsmiths, creating bespoke ecclesiastical silverware and gold commissions for the church and important religious occasions.

As an audacious rising star, we are proud of how quickly we’ve established ourselves as a world-renowned company of expert craftsmen, with custom-built workshops that enable us to design and create beautiful bespoke pieces from scratch.

Who are Thomas Lyte? – Designers, makers, and restorers

We are entrusted with magnificent royal and ecclesiastical heirlooms, most recently the Platinum Jubilee Processional Cross that was unveiled at the Jubilee Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in June. We are English to the core, but when it comes to customer service, we lose our British sense of cool and moderation and delight in being positively excessive. Our goal is to take your design, doodle or even a vague dream in your imagination and make it happen. There is nothing you can’t ask of us and almost nothing we would not do for you, whether it be creating a processional cross or a ciborium, chalice, alms dish, or candlestick.

About us

Ecclesiastical silverware Thomas Lyte silversmith apprenticeships

State-of-the-art silver workshops

We never fail because rather than entrusting what we do to anyone else, we’ve built our own state-of-the-art workshops in London, now among the largest and most sophisticated silversmithing and goldsmithing facilities in Europe. We have sourced the latest technology and Britain’s most talented, creative craftsmen, while breathing life back into time-honoured traditional artisan skills by nurturing our apprentices. We oversee every tiny detail and involve our customer at each stage of the process. That’s why today we are being entrusted with magnificent royal heirlooms and the world’s most important sporting trophies alongside our superb one-off ecclesiastical silverware. We can design and create to order bespoke ecclesiastical or church silverware and have it delivered in pristine condition on time anywhere in the world.
