We prioritise suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability which involves evaluation criteria beyond quality and price, including environmental and social practices.”
“It is essential here at Thomas Lyte that we set targets and implement initiatives to reduce energy consumption, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions. It’s a journey of perpetual enhancement towards a more sustainable future.”

Harshad Joshi: “As part of our objectives, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint by a minimum of 12% annually, with a vision of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.”
“We’ve recently encouraged our employees to drive electrical vehicles outside of work. Choosing EVs for their personal commutes demonstrates their dedication to minimising their environmental impact and supporting the transition to a low carbon-future.”
Harshad Joshi: “As the Purchasing Manager my role is integral to achieving these targets which reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility as a Royal Warrant Holder for Her Majesty the Queen.”
It is our collaboration with our suppliers that is a key strategy towards sustainable solutions. We work closely with our partners to prioritise sustainable practices throughout our supply chain. This includes traceability of materials, renewable energy adoption, and transitioning to electric vehicles for transportation.”

Harshad Joshi: “We provide comprehensive care guides and maintenance services, promoting responsible ownership and a ‘Made to Last’ philosophy. Harshad Joshi: “One scheme that we participate in is the Hainault Forest Scheme, a tree planting initiative aimed at restoring and preserving local ecosystems. By volunteering our time to plant trees and maintain green spaces, employees contribute to biodiversity conservation and carbon reduction.”
Harshad Joshi: “Several employees have supported the Baton of Hope initiative, where individuals carry a symbolic baton to raise awareness and support for suicide prevention. Last year, six members of our team participated in the final legs of the Baton of Hope relay in London, amplifying our commitment to sustainability and community engagement on a public platform. It was truly fulfilling to witness the Baton of Hope, crafted by Thomas Lyte, being passed along in relays across the country.”

“We honour our legacy as a trusted purveyor of fine goods, refurbishment of historic items to the royal household and a trusted supplier to the most prestigious sporting competitions in the world of which exemplifies a dedication to preserving the environment for future generations.”
