Thomas Lyte are the proud Designers and Makers of The Curlin Handicap Trophy. This trophy was commissioned to celebrate the renaming of The Trans Gulf Electromechanical Trophy to the Curlin Handicap Trophy in 2017.
This race was upgraded to listed status and is contested at the world famous Meydan Racecourse over 2000m on a conventional dirt track.
This trophy features an elegant design that has been spun in silverplate. Highlighted in 24 Karat Gold gilding, the trophy features and embellished cast laurel crest and decorative handles. At the base is a engraved arabic pattern while the plinth finishes off this trophy with spun steps on a polished wooden base and engraved plaque.
Standing at 45cm tall and 16cm wide, Thomas Lyte also crafted a smaller replica version of this trophy.
