In support of new designers, Thomas Lyte launched the Modern Heritage Award in association with the Crafts Council. The trophy was designed in-house by Thomas Lyte designer Gemma Bone, who has been noted as one of England’s most dynamic product designers, and hand-made at the Thomas Lyte Silver London Workshop. Each finalist is represented by one of 9 curves and the surface texture and brushed finish modernise the design and challenge the traditional pre-conception of a trophy.
