Designed and handcrafted by Thomas Lyte, the Shield brings the concept of “two hemispheres colliding” to life through a bold sculptural form. Its intricate surface draws inspiration from the geography of tectonic plates and dramatic ridges, while its centre incorporates a striking interpretation of a compass reflecting the global scale of the competition. Standing at 50cm high and weighing 5.65kg, the Shield is presented within a bespoke domed base, with intricate lines connecting it visually to the primary Nations Championship trophy.
We have selected a number of case studies that demonstrate the broad range of our capabilities designing and making in precious metals.
