The Baton of Hope – designed, made and donated by Royal Warrant holders, Thomas Lyte – have held an event at Sheffield’s Weston Park. The Walk of Hope is was held to encourage conversations around mental health. Co-founder of the charity, Mike McCarthy, said the Walk of Hope was about “smashing stigma surrounding suicide…”. Baton bearers included people who had lost loved ones to suicide or survived a suicide attempt.
