The UniCredit Youth America’s Cup trophy makes its grand debut to the public as it arrives in Barcelona, ahead of the hotly anticipated UniCredit Youth America’s Cup Regatta later this year.
Taking place from the 17th-26th of September in Barcelona, the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup Regatta will bring together the world’s most exceptional young sailors, aged 18-25, to represent their 12 home countries in a thrilling yacht race that will test their team spirit, intuition, leadership and aptitude.
Known as the world’s largest and most prolific elite sporting trophy designers and makers, Thomas Lyte’s portfolio boasts numerous prestigious trophies for major sporting events. The brand also holds a Royal Warrant as goldsmiths and silversmiths to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The prestigious trophy is made up of sterling silver and gold plate, weighing approximately 13kg (including the base) and measuring 50cm tall and 60cm wide. The trophy is a shining symbol of the partnership between UniCredit and the Youth America’s Cup, a shared dedication to empowering young future leaders, encapsulated in the design of a bowline knot.
