Designers and Makers of the FNCS Pro-Am Trophy

Thomas Lyte are world-renowned bespoke trophy designers and makers and Royal Warrant holders as goldsmiths and silversmiths to His Majesty the King Charles III. Thomas Lyte have partnered with BLAST Esports as Official Silverware Partner of the Fortnite Global Championship for 2025, continuing to raise the bar in silverware for esports.

Fortnite’s finest loot

As British goldsmiths and silversmiths with a Royal Warrant to His Majesty the King, Thomas Lyte craft silverware of global significance. We design and make sport’s most iconic trophies, including the Emirates FA Cup and the Rugby World Cup. Each piece embodies the pinnacle of sporting achievement.

In 2025, we brought that expertise to Fortnite when BLAST appointed us Official Silverware Partner of the Fortnite Global Championship. As a result, we will design and handcraft the trophy for every event in the 2025 season.

Levelling up the digital stage

The FNCS Pro Am Trophy features a bold, instantly recognisable silhouette. Over several months, we prepared, discussed, and refined design iterations until the final concept took shape. A distinctly faceted base, reflective of the polygonal modelling techniques common in gaming, anchors the trophy, carrying the tournament logo and leaving space to engrave the winners’ names.

From this base rise six V-shaped arms that spiral upwards before sharply changing direction. Finished with colour on their inner surfaces, the arrow-like arms climb to varying heights, echoing the laurel motif featured in the FNCS logo.

Handcrafted in London

Our master goldsmiths and silversmiths handcrafted the Fortnite Pro-Am Trophy entirely in our London workshops. They combine traditional silversmithing techniques with innovative technology to forge each bespoke trophy. To achieve the highest standard, our master craftspeople shaped the sterling silver body through a meticulous process of casting, soldering, filing, and polishing.

The plinth bears a custom engraving of the tournament branding, while the trophy features the signature FNCS purple coloured motif. At the trophy’s peak, the Championship Series logo sits proudly; expertly shaped, coloured, and polished by our elite team of smiths.

The FNCS Pro-Am

Hosted at the University of Southern California’s ‘Galen Center’, the FNCS Pro-Am combined 20 of the world’s top Fortnite players with 20 of the game’s biggest content creators. One player from each group pairs up to create a team. The teams then battle it out for the FNCS Pro-Am Trophy and a share of a prize pool of $500,000.

Such a unique competition required a unique trophy, and it was lifted by the inaugural winners of the 2025 FNCS Pro-Am, YouTuber AussieAntics and his partner Peterbot.

As part of our partnership with BLAST, we designed and made the RLCS Birmingham Major Trophy, and the RLCS and FNCS Championship trophies respectively.

The Esports World Cup is a highly innovative trophy for a competition with a truly global reach. We are the designers and makers of the original Summoner’s Cup and the LEC Trophy. Additionally, the FIFAe World Cup‘s cutting-edge design and manufacture joins the eChampions League Trophy as notable mentions of our football/sports simulation esports trophy cabinet.

  • Where was the FNCS Pro-Am Trophy made?
    The trophy was designed by Thomas Lyte’s in-house design team and hand crafted in Thomas Lyte’s world renowned London workshops.
  • What is the FNCS Pro-Am?
    The FNCS Pro-Am combines 20 of the world’s top Fortnite players with 20 of the game’s biggest content creators to battle it out for the FNCS Pro-Am Trophy. Not only that, the teams would play for a share of a prize pool of $500,000.
  • What inspired the design?
    Using elements of the FNCS logo, the trophy features six arrow-head arms referencing the laurel leaf motif. Leading upwards, the arms spiral to carry the tournament logo, while also allowing space at the plinth for engraving the ultimate winners.
  • Who did Thomas Lyte partner with?
    We partnered with BLAST Esports as the Official Silverware Partner for the Fortnite Global Championship 2025. As a result, we’ll make two trophies and a full suite of medals for both Fortnite competitions.
