Thomas Lyte are the proud Designers and Makers of the Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint Trophy. This trophy was designed and made for the newly added Turf Sprint Race of 1200m to replace the G3 Meydan Sprint at 1000m. As part of the Super Saturday schedule, this race allows trainers to put the finishing touches to their equine stars before the biggest day on the Middle Eastern horse racing’s biggest calendar – The Dubai World Cup.
This design features a spun trophy with a lid and finial. It has been highlighted in 24 Karat Gold Gilding and at the center of the trophy features a decorative panel with a cast horseman and engraved arabesque patterns. This panel has been highlighted in 24 Karat Gold gilding.
The plinth finishes this exquisite piece off with spun steps on a polished wooden base with an engraved plaque in silver-plate. Standing at 48cm in height and 16cm wide, this trophy is beautifully crafted. Thomas Lyte were also commissioned to produce a smaller replica version of this trophy.
