Collaborating with Beefeater, we at Thomas Lyte have crafted and engraved a special edition Crown Jewel label. Made from 9 carat solid gold, and embellished with a ruby, the recognisable Crown Jewel label was expertly engraved at our artisan London workshop.
As Royal Warrant holders to His Majesty the King, exhibiting our levels of intricacy and expert craftsmanship became a perfect way to commemorate the Coronation. The separate, solid gold hallmark that appears on the bottle is one of the very first examples of the King’s mark on a piece of luxury workmanship. This hallmark confirms all legal standards of purity and fineness have been upheld to the highest standards.
Of the two bottles made, only one was offered for auction, with all proceeds generously donated to The Drinks Trust. The second bottle was made available via Beefeater themselves, and served as an opportunity for collectors and connoisseurs alike. Available for £4000, the distinguished buyer would own a piece of British craft history.
