Our workshops in London are purpose-built for handcrafting bespoke silverware and gold-. We make many of the world’s most renowned sporting trophies. There are various disciplines of craftsmanship covered by our team including silversmithing and goldsmithing, spinning, chasing, polishing, plating, and engraving. We provide our talented team with access to the very best training and support, and give them the freedom to test and develop new techniques today so that we can create the masterpieces of tomorrow. We are constantly growing our crafting team, and are particularly interested in speaking to skilled craftspeople looking for a fresh challenge.
Central to Thomas Lyte’s brand values is the preservation of traditional goldsmithing and silversmithing skills. Through a scheme run by The Goldsmith’s Centre, we offer apprenticeships in crafting positions under the stewardship of the master craftspeople at our workshops. The 4-year program ensures that our team’s knowledge and experience is passed along to the next generation of silversmiths and goldsmiths.
