Thomas Lyte are proud designers and makers of the Star Sixes Trophy. Star Sixes is the first ever competitive tournament for world renowned former international footballers. Involving 12 national teams and launched in 2017, players play a six-a-side competition in their country’s colours.
Reflecting the logo of the competition, the trophy features five outer stars at the end of silver plated rods. A gold plated sixth star is featured in the centre at the top of the trophy encased in the outline of a football. Our skilled silversmiths took over 50 craft hours to sculpt this trophy.
We also hand-crafted medals which complement the trophy with the use of the green brand colour and the tournament logo.
A galaxy of stars took part in the first competition in 2017, including: Roberto Carlos (Brazil), Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, David James, Emile Heskey (England), Carles Puyol, Gaizka Mendieta (Spain), Michael Ballack (Germany), Deco (Portugal), Robert Pirès (France), Jay-Jay Okocha (Nigeria) and Dominic Matteo (Scotland).
