Thomas Lyte are proud to be the designers and makers of the 2021 ICC Test Championship Finalists Medals.
This would be the very first Test Championship Final in more than 140 years history of test cricket, so a striking new medal design was required to mark the occasion in style.
The medal design, as shown here, is gold-plated and features a cut-out section in the centre providing a window through which you can see the cricket whites of the players whose effort and skill has taken them through to the very pinnacle of the test game.
The winners of the final not only receive medals, but have the opportunity to lift the awe-inspiring ICC Test Championship Mace, also handcrafted in Thomas Lyte’s fine silver workshops.
The intricate and highly detailed Mace was created by employing a combination of traditional skills and modern methods. For example, the laurel wreath ribbon that spirals around the shaft of the Mace was 3D printed from a digital 3D design, cast and gold-plated.
