Following the creation of both the League of Legends World Championship Summoners Cup and the League of Legends regional trophy Copa Latinoamérica, Thomas Lyte was commissioned by Riot Games to design and make the European & North American League equivalent of the League of Legends Championship Series Trophies.
Both trophies were crafted in a base metal with silver-plating and finished with a prominent blue “stone” of cut glass at their centre. The designs were carefully tailored to a detailed brief by Riot Games to commemorate the contest between those competing for the prize.
