Thomas Lyte are honoured to be the designers and makers of the JP Morgan Premiership Rugby 7s Trophy, first presented in 2010.
In conjunction with Thomas Lyte, the players were sculptured by hand by the famous Russian sculptor, Peter Zaltsman, and were first carved in wax before being cast in metal and plated in silver. The players were then mounted on a plinth with the tournament logo engraved on the band in Thomas Lyte’s London workshop.
The trophy is 46cms high and weighs over 6kg. Thomas Lyte also created the medals for the winners, which are gold plated and feature the original design of the trophy on the front, with the tournament logo on the reverse.
