Thomas Lyte were commissioned by The Football Association to design and make a unique award to be presented to Wayne Rooney to formally recognise his record-breaking contribution to the England men’s senior national team.
In a fitting tribute the award was presented to England’s record goalscorer, who was accompanied by his four children, before his final England appearance against the USA on Thursday 15 November 2018.
The 24k Gold Plated England Crest includes a commemorative message celebrating his incredible 15-year England career, his 120 caps and his tally of 53 goals.
