Thomas Lyte are delighted to have created the trophy and awards for the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (ARTA). Rewarding excellence, craft, and great taste, the ARTA Awards are a nationwide celebration of British Asian Cuisine and the individuals involved in its creation.
Crafted in Sterling Silver with a solid gold bowl and flame and 24 carat gold buttons, the main award stands 16” tall with the individual awards standing at 14”. A blend of 3D printing and traditional craft methods, including casting, spinning, chasing, plating and polishing, were used by eleven of our staff over 100 combined working hours to bring this spectacular piece to life.
The first Gala Evening took place in September 2018, at the InterContinental Hotel at The O2 London. The Curry Palace in Cottenham rose above the other nominees to take the inaugural main award.
